Located in northeastern Oregon’s Wallowa County, this beautiful expanse of land was once home to the Nez Perce tribe. Today, the area is known for the Wallowa Mountains and Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, a vast, 130,000-acre wilderness on the eastern border of the Grouse Creek Ranch.
50 miles east of Joseph, the ranch is easily accessible by the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, a highway designated as one of America’s most significant scenic byways.
